We can't believe how much our lives have changed over the last 2 years! John and I met in December of 2006, were married in December 2007, and here we are in Europe for December 2008... What a wonderful 2 years we have shared together! We celebrated our first anniversary on Monday, December 1st, as John treated me to the gift of an amazing road trip through the Italian countryside in Tuscany. And what an unbelievably fabulous gift it was! Tuscany was even more magical than I had imagined... It was absolutely breathtaking and authentic with each turn in the winding road. Every picturesque village seemed to ooze with personality, rich history and character unlike any the one before or the town to follow. We sampled wine at the most fabulous Italian winemakers in Montalcino and Montepulciano where they actually grow the grapes and cultivate some of the most prestigious wines in the world...what an experience!
